MUSO started out of a passion and respect to leather craftsmen and artisans that spend hours just to complete a single article, and years honing their skills.

At the heart of the craft lies one of nature's most durable materials, leather. Artisans who work for luxury and boutique brands use premium, high-end leather hides that are hard to obtain, and gatekept by the luxury fashion's sky high prices.

From that, MUSO was born, bringing you unique and premium leathers used by luxury fashion, at a more reasonable price.

What does MUSO mean?

MUSO is a Japanese word meaning unparalleled and without equal.

With that, we aim at MUSO at bringing you the best leather types, carefully selected.

Why iPhone cases first?

For our first product, we wanted to bring our high-end leather selections to the item we carry with us the most, our phones. Smartphones are the first thing we see when we wake up, and the last thing we check before going to sleep.

The leather goods market is currently inflated with baseless claims, misinformation, and down-right unnecessary markups.

Customers are paying more while getting less, and we feel that we can help change that, by being transparent and fair.

We mention the tannery from where we purchases the leather from, and even the name of the leather itself, leaving no guesses.

Barenia Collection: Uses the legendary BARENIA® leather used by brands such as Hermès®.

Midori Collection: Uses a unique, experimental leather from ROBICOCO Japan. This leather is tanned using Matcha, giving it its lush green tone.
