Is Matcha Leather real or synthetic?

Matcha Leather is a full-grain, semi-aniline leather made from cowhides. It is not "fake" or synthetic.

Will the color fade or change over time?

As Matcha Leather is real full-grain leather, it will develop a patina, albeit at a slower rate when compared with our Barenia Leather iPhone case.

Is the leather vegetable or chrome tanned?

Matcha leather is chrome tanned, making it softer while resulting in a slower patina process. This also ensures a more consistent look on the leather.

What does the name "Midori" mean?

Midori is Japanese for green. We find it apt to call it by the only color this leather comes in; while referencing it to its origin.
